from the Artist behind H!Soxiety Studio

For we are all healing from something, I am committed to creating more than one way to see the outside from within.

I like to reshuffle how we see things through a series of openings.  In my paintings, I repeatedly reorganize, replace and reassemble physical matters, ones that support our livelihood. From windows in the walls, signage on the streets, to clouds against the sky, I am constantly deconstructing things we not only see, but also consciously look to, and piecing them together; a practice of processing anxious thoughts in my head.

I paint in acrylic with a high level of organization and repetition in composition, building stability in elements of surprise. Uncomplex forms enable me to oversimplify the often incomprehensible inner realm. I intend to attend and calm viewers in collaboration with colors. Often employing a series of views or multiple perspectives, the imagery is meant to be rotated or reversed within the four corners.

H!Soxiety Studio ultimately paints more than one way to see inward, with a sole purpose of looking out for each other.
